Love Plus Flour Weekly menu for 1/21


In order to expand my culinary horizons and reconnect to my Sephardi heritage, I’m taking a trip to Spain. Please order now for the next two weeks, so I can be sure to have what you need prepared. The menu for 1/28 is here, and the menu for 2/4 is here.

Meanwhile, here in the present, I’m still baking up some amazing things for you this week. Along with water, egg, and specialty challot, my menu includes oatmeal raisin cookies, churro-flavored muddy buddies, and one more, very special desert:

In honor of “National Chocolate Cake Day (January 27), I’m making mini chocolate cakes. these are 4” rounds, with chocolate frosting. If you (or someone in your family) have ever asked if they can eat the whole cake by themself, NOW you can answer “yes”!
